SRT326i is a handheld lone worker alarm with indoor positioning capabilities. Its basic alarm handling and GSM/GPRS communication functionality is based upon its predecessor SRT326. The indoor positioning is achieved through duplex communication with RF tags (SRT334i/SRT334i2). Each tag is programmed with position information that is emitted to the lone worker alarm when it enters the area covered by the tag.
Once in a while you will find yourself in areas without cellular network coverage. Typically it will be a basement or an indoor environment with thick walls. Such areas can be equipped with combined RF tag-routers (SRT334i2). In case of an alarm the SRT326i uses an RF tag for positioning, just as usual. But because of the lack of GSM coverage it will have to relay the alarm message through a chain of RF routers to a relay station with GSM coverage, where the message can be forwarded to a GSM network. A message delivery confirmation is then relayed back to the SRT326i that originally generated the alarm.
Available accessories for SRT326i includes wall charger, desktop charger, car charger, USB cable, carrying case and lanyard.
